The journey continues with a stronger commitment to the mission and vision of Khepera. This is the fourth year of our rebirth and it is time for the seed that was planted and watered to push through the earth and begin to grow. During this period all who are involved in this process (The Creator, parents, staff and learning partners) will need to demonstrate unity of purpose (that our students reach high standards in academics) but, more importantly the unity of thought. We are preparing our children to reclaim our greatness as a people, to reestablish our sense of community and to strengthen our families. An African proverb from the Ashanti nation reads, “The ruin of a nation begins in the homes of its people”. We are rebuilding and moving forward.
