Khepera Charter School is a K-8 African-Centered Academy devoted to the Rebirth of Academic and Cultural Excellence. It is a tuition-free Philadelphia public charter school.

Intent to Re-Enroll form holds your child’s spot for the upcoming school year. Intent to Re-Enroll documents for the upcoming school year are made available in January. The form can be downloaded from the KCS website, or picked up from the school.
If a Re-Enrollment Form is not submitted for a student, we will make additional attempts to obtain documentation from parents. If we do not receive the Re-Enrollment Form by the deadline, your child’s slot for the upcoming year will not be held.
All documents (including the Re-Enrollment Form) can be mailed, faxed, emailed or hand-delivered to the school.
Prior to the start of the 2016-2017 school year, we need the following documents submitted: Emergency Contact/Pick Up Form, Alert Now Registration form, Walking Permission, Picture/Video Release, Khepera Bus Permission, Free & Reduced Lunch Form, Student Confidential Health Record, Health Assessment/ Immunization Record, Dental Assessment and PIAA Evaluation.
Re-enrollment Process - All parents submit the Re-Enrollment form for the upcoming school year by the deadline. Re-enrollment forms for the 2016-2017 are due February 1, 2016. The re-enrollment forms can be submitted either through mail, fax, email or hand-delivery. The lottery for the 2016-2017 school year will be held on March 3, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at 926 W. Sedgley Avenue. If parents do not submit re-enrollment forms, their child’s slot will be made available in the lottery.
